Here at Abisena Ubud, we’ve welcomed guests throughout every season, witnessing firsthand how different times of visit shape our visitors’ experiences in the cultural heart of Bali! Thus, our team is delighted to share our local expertise to help you plan your next holiday in Ubud.
Based on our guests’ experiences, weather is definitely one of the most essential factors before deciding on their visit to Ubud. Luckily, Bali only consists of two seasons, dry and wet. Both seasons offer a unique ambiance to your holiday in Ubud, depending on your preferred type of vacation.
Our guest feedback and local expertise indicate the dry season provides ideal conditions for exploring Ubud's outdoor attractions. You can expect warm, sunny days with low humidity, perfect for walking through the Ubud streets, enjoying the art markets, exploring the temples, and hiking through the lush rice fields.

Based on our local knowledge, we believe April to June are the optimal months to visit Ubud since you’ll experience nice sunny weather with low humidity, minimal rainfall, and moderate tourist numbers.
Absolutely! The wet season (November - March) offers a unique perspective of Ubud, allowing you to enjoy lush, green landscapes with fewer tourists.
We recommend a minimum of 4-5 days to fully experience Ubud. This allows time for:
- Cultural site visits (1-2 days)
- Wellness activities (1 day)
- Local exploration (1 day)
- Flexible time for spontaneous discoveries or relaxation (1 day)
Ubud should definitely be part of your itinerary no matter the season. But based on our expertise, we think the best time to visit Ubud is during the dry season, between April and June since the weather will be sunny without being too hot yet.
